Amanda Ribeiro is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-C) based in Miami. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Stony Brook University before completing her nursing and advanced practice training at the University of Miami, where she obtained an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.

Amanda provides thoughtful, compassionate, and evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults. She works with individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, disordered eating, and neurodivergence, utilizing a collaborative and holistic approach that values the connection between emotional, physical, and overall wellbeing.

Drawing from her experience in high-acuity medical and surgical settings, Amanda brings a well-rounded understanding of the relationship between mental and physical health. She is committed to creating a supportive and personalized treatment experience where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their path toward long-term wellness.

Amanda has a particular clinical interest in neurodivergence, eating disorders and disordered eating, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and depression. She is especially passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves and develop practical, sustainable strategies to support their mental health and overall wellbeing. Outside of her clinical work, Amanda enjoys running, yoga and Pilates, spending time at the beach,  and spending time with her two dogs and loved ones.
